BharatGPT, supported by Reliance Industries and the Department of Science and Technology, has introduced Hanooman, a ChatGPT-like service with Indic language capabilities. It aims to aid sectors like healthcare, governance, finance, and education. Other Indian startups are also developing similar AI models, known as Large Language Models, using deep learning technology.
The BharatGPT group, a collaboration between Reliance Industries Ltd. and eight Indian Institute of Technology universities, is set to launch a new AI model named 'Hanooman' in March. Backed by Mukesh Ambani, the model aims to provide conversational AI services in healthcare, governance, financial services, and education in 11 Indian languages.
