Iron Gate Candles & Co., which began in 2017, is moving to Beyond Bijoux on Laurens Street in downtown Aiken. A grand reopening will be held on April 1.
The Aiken City Council voted unanimously Monday evening to approve the first readings of ordinances granting one-year lease extensions with a mutual option for a second year to the three businesses. The lease extensions contain a provision, Item 19, offering owners Jeannette Moseley (Vampire Penguin and Flawless Glow) and Brooke Thomas (Ginger Bee) the chance to purchase their parts of the Beckman building.
