The next-to-last concert of the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra's 2021-22 season, "Believe in the Connections of Music," will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, at the Bemidji High School Auditorium.
The holiday music starts Saturday night when the Bemidji Choir, made up of Bemidji State University students, teams up with First Lutheran Church organist Sarah Carlson for a winter concert at the church. Additional concerts are on the schedule for Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and next Sunday as various ensembles get back on stage after being sidelined or limited by the pandemic in 2020.
Sarah Carlson has not played any Beatles music in church or with the Bemidji Symphony. That will change next weekend when she joins a chamber ensemble from the BSO for two concerts at First Lutheran Church. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14.
