Can you walk us through the experience of completing construction on the new facility at 419 bryant street during the Covid19 Crisis and then actually moving in . First of all, the new facility is wonderful. It gives us twice as much space for the animals, it improved our hvac system. It improves our ability to give care. But finishing this facility was d. The challenging thing i think about twin peaks is it affects folks that live and work nearby, but its also sort of a regional destination both within the city and, you know, people coming from outside the city, so i think trying to get input from as many people as possible within that is really important and i think, you know, m. T. A. And Rec And Park work together on the m. T. A. Led project the twin Peaks Project and i think we can continue to work closely with Rec And Park and the other city partners that are involved in this process. Chairman yeah. Nervous and shy and not used to it so forgive me. One thing the pandemic has taught us is how essential and open spaces and parks have been to our physical and mental health and well being. Lets be honest, this project took a number of years in the making. Wasnt fully funded. We had design changes and wonderful advocacy of support and then there was that pandemic that got in the way for about a year. So to be here today is really wonderful. Today, we have our mayor, we have Supervisor Mandelman. We have Commissioner Mcdonald and some community champions to help us celebrate. So i will be brief. This is a 5. 3 million effort.
