A senior from Erskine Academy in South China enrolled for the second year in the Law Enforcement Academy program, Blair will ship out in July for 10-week basic combat training with the U.S. Army National Guard. He will then attend an eight-week Advanced Individual Training (AIT) program in Mississippi. When he returns from his training, he plans to attend the University of Maine at Machias to study wildlife biology, with the goal of becoming a Maine game warden. Outside of school, he has been a volunteer coach for middle school basketball. He helps out a neighbor who has Parkinson’s disease by shoveling and splitting and stacking firewood.
