from yesterday, and the rally was picking up the tab as a gift to the city. an estimated 1 million people showed up for the celebration, and lisa amin gulezian says the day was electric for the fans and players. reporter: oakland erupted. we have confetti! blue and gold was everywhere. this city had a lot to celebrate. a second championship title in just three years brought pride to everybody on the ground, including the players. we built an identity around this warriors organization that is second to none that is so unique and something that we need to cherish. this has always been a good fan base. it s good to be able to get back to the city and no better way to win a championship. the fans kopbcouldn t agree . it s really good to see the warriors win another championship. reporter: the signs and sights set it all, this team is special. there s a sense of special when these players get kd is locked in, championship from here on out. lisa ami lisa ami ....
reporter: it s not hot yet, but it s gonna be. coming up, a little more on which pools are open just in time for our first blast of heat. oh, shall i keep going? i can go a little longer here. we re at the warburton park over in santa clara where they have just opened the pools this week. it s not open at this hour but it will be open from 1:15 to 4:15 and it will be open saturday and sunday from 12:30 to 4:30. on the other side of town, international swim center on patricia drive will be open from 1:30 to 5:00 monday through friday and 12:30 to 4:30 saturday and sunday. you don t have to be a resident of santa clara to take advantage of these. these are just a couple of municipal pools that will be open. you can check your city s website for more information. and the red cross has some additional heat tips as well beyond the average the usual things we hear, such as wear loose clothing and drink plenty of fluids. among those tips, postpone outdoor activity such as ....
because i looked over your shoulder and saw you were looking at the all-time records for temperatures that kari had posted. napa was like 113 in june. and it s going to get up to 105 this weekend, which is still really hot. but it s going to be not record-breaking, but definitely dangerous as you make plans for the weekend. the heat advisory now in effect for all of these areas shaded in orange, that does not include the immediate coastline, san francisco and that extends down toward half moon bay. so it will be very hot, solano county included in an excessive heat advisory. that s where you definitely need to take it easy. i want to show you some of these high temperatures we re heading toward today. napa up to 97, 98 in concord and san jose 89 degrees. we will have some cool temperatures along the coast and places where you can go and cool off. i ll talk more about that coming up. mike gives us an update on a wrong-way driver. reported on the peninsula. we saw in ....
