A new player has entered the contest for Hudson county’s CarePoint Health hospitals.
California-based investment group KPC Global Management has signed a letter of intent with CarePoint Health to purchase the operations of Hoboken University Medical Center and Christ Hospital in Jersey City, the two entities announced Wednesday.
The announcement is the latest twist in the years-long saga of Hudson County’s three CarePoint hospitals, and could herald the arrival of a major new player in the dizzying tug-of-war over the hospitals. ....
