Were there at the church waiting for your son, justin, to pick him up at basketball camp. justin, what did you see when you were in the middle of the hall? well, i actually i was coming out of basketball camp and then i heard this glass breaking sound and then apparently that was the deer. that was coming through the window into the church. and everyone was sort of moving towards that deer except us. we were sort of staying in that same spot. and then someone said look, there s a deer and that was not the deer that was running through the hallway. that was actually a separate deer that was going that was in the courtyard and we actually got to see that one. out the window. justin, did you move it i think i read somewhere you moved ....
Good morning to both of you. good morning. good morning. all right, so i understand that you were outside the church and what did you see that was a little unusual? well, actually, i was inside the church. and i was waiting in the lobby area to pick up my children from their basketball camp. and as they were coming out of the door, all of sudden, we heard a loud crash which sounded like glass breaking. so, of course, everyone was stopping and not moving to try to figure out what was going on so at that time, someone said, deer. and we looked out of the window and there s a courtyard that is on the other side of the window for outside of the church. and there was a deer out there. so we thought the deer had crashed through the window and then had gone outside and was in the courtyards. ok, so right, go ahead. no, go ahead. i was just going to say so you you observed it and you ....
The shoplifting stuff, it was out there a little bit. the parental you know, the battles, the divorces and everything, that s been kind of out there. i wanted to set the record straight in my own words and not have anybody misrepresent who i am, what i am, and what i ve done with my life. one of the more vivid things in the book is where you describe absolutely perfectly the guy that abused you in the camp. you can remember him to this day right down to what he looked like, his hair, his teeth, his clothing, everything. i found that very compelling. that it had such an effect on a 10-year-old boy that every detail is still etched in your mind. you don t forget something like that. i think anybody who s had a traumatic experience, at whatever age, that they don t forget. it s something i ve certainly tried to push back and, you know, keep in the back of my head. but it s always there, you know, popping up periodically. and especially when i m dealing with my daughters and they t ....
