Hammed Shittu in Ilorin Ahead of 2023 polls, the indigenes of Offa, the headquarters of Offa Local Government area of Kwara State have thrown their weight behind the second term bid of the state governor Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. The endorsement of the people of the town came a week after the monarch of the town, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi publicly endorsed the Governor for the second term come 2023. The Offa people, which is the second largest town in the state, hinged their decision on what they called superlative performance of AbdulRazaq in the last two years. Describing him as a goal getter, the people said the difference in the development in the state is very clear, comparing with what was obtainable in the past. ....

But one of the arch political enemies of the governor who currently represents the community in the State House of Assembly, Hon Saheed Popoola, an indigene of Offa, tackled his monarch for this public declaration of support.
