The SES has issued an evacuation order for the Tweed River at Condong, Tumbulgum and surrounding areas
The Wilsons River at Lismore is expected to exceed the moderate flood level (7.20m) around 6pm Tuesday. The river level may peak near 8.20m around 2am Wednesday, with moderate flooding.

Rainfall and river conditions have developed as expected and the predictions provided in the previous forecast remain unchanged in this update.
River levels along the Tweed river at Tumbulgum are expected to peak near the minor flood level with the high tide tonight and again Tuesday morning. River levels at Chinderah are expected to peak near the minor flood level Tuesday morning, though will remain below the minor flood level tonight.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight tonight and into Tuesday which may result in renewed flooding.
A Severe Weather Warning is current for the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast. ....

Heavy rain has continued over the Tweed catchment over night and may continue in the next few hours.
Water levels along the Tweed River have responded strongly to the increased rainfall. Minor flooding is occurring at Murwillumbah where moderate flooding is expected to develop this morning.
River levels at Tumbulgum are above the minor flood level and are expected to reach the major flood level on Tuesday around noon with the high tide. River levels at Chinderah are expected to reach the moderate flood level on Tuesday around noon with the high tide. Further rises are possible if the rain intensifies again in the next few hours. ....
