NEW PORT RICHIE, Fla. Doris M. Whitmore Gross, 89, passed away Nov. 27, 2020. Born in Youngstown, May 11, 1931, she was preceded in death by her husband David of 55 years; and her son, Martin. She is survived by much-loved son, Richard of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters, Pamela Tucker of Rapid City, S.D. and Barbara Orosz of Youngstown; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. While raising her children, she was active in Cub Scouts, Campfire Girls, PTA and numerous hobbies. She was employed by the Boardman school system cafeteria in Ohio for 20 years, retiring in 1993.
