you know the doctor that got accused of causing michael jackson s death? she may have saved a woman on a plane, and there was no other doctor to help out. you are watching hln on this sunday. so glad you are. i m susan hendricks. the latest on the effort to stop oil from spilling from a ruptured oil well in the gulf of mexico. it isn t working, yet. engineers for bp ran into a problem yesterday as they tried to insert a plug into the well. that problem forced them to bring an apparatus guided by deep-sea robots up for adjustments. bp says once it s in place, the plug will allow them to catch a lot of the oil that is flowing into the gulf. scientists now say they have found large plumes of oil from the spill beneath the surface of the gulf. check it out. the plumes were spotted from just below the water s surface to 4,000 feet deep. that has led to speculation that the effort to minimize the impact of the oil spill on the environment is actually making matters worse. a ....
