As per details, the Rajasthan woman used to conduct the robberies in paying guests (PG) around software company localities and PG areas of the city such as Tin Factory, Marathahalli, Bellandur, Silkboard Hebbala, Whitefield, Mahadevpur, etc.
He said that the city has been able to achieve this because of a range of initiatives spanning traffic engineering, public transportation enhancements, targeted interventions at congested junctions, and infrastructure improvements.
In total, 2,143 cybercrime cases have been filed against the suspects nationwide, leading to the arrest of 11 individuals connected to the operation. Among those arrested are two individuals from Hyderabad and four from Mumbai.
The police also plan to implement advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and Internet of Things (IoT)-based solutions to optimise traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance overall safety. Educational initiatives are also a key focus, with efforts directed towards raising awareness about road safety, responsible driving, and the consequences of traffic violations. School programs, workshops, and social media campaigns are part of the holistic approach to ensure a well-informed community.
