COLUMBIA BASIN District tournaments across the Basin are less than two weeks away, with teams in the area fighting for higher seeding in their respective conferences. See below for a look at where Basin squads stand during the final weeks of the regular season.

ROYAL CITY – Once Toppenish took a 7-6 lead midway through the first quarter over Royal on Thursday night the Wildcats held the lead for the remainder of the contest, riding out to a 56-32 win over the Knights.

ROYAL CITY – The Knights opened the South Central Athletic Conference district tournament with a win over La Salle on Thursday, defeating the Lightning 5-1 on their home turf.
ROYAL CITY – The Royal Knights claimed a win in Thursday’s South Central Athletic Conference (East) contest against Wahluke, opening up league play with a 3-0 win over the Warriors.
While the win is nice, Royal Head Coach Jens Jensen said the Knights are remaining humble after the league opener.
