brownsville texas where the surge has started. nate? hey, charles. the biden administration today sharing its plans for the end of title 42, but in advance of that, we re already seeing massive numbers in brownsville. just behind me, several hundred migrants are beginning their processing. this comes after yesterday, 2,800 migrants were processed in this field behind me. take a look at this video. this has been happening every day here in brownsville. to mitigate the effects of the end of title 42, the administration is increasing legal immigration pathways, especially for migrants with families already in the united states. in fact, alejandro mayorkas says families in general will not be detained at the southern border. listen to this. we have no plan to detain families. as i mentioned, we will be employing alternatives to detention, including some innovations in that regard. and we will on a case by case basis use enhanced alternatives to detention as are warranted. c
