CSPAN Washington This Week July 9, 2016

In my household, we were never brought up to be prejudiced. I have had many black friends, coworkers, very intelligent, very nice people. And i had a bad experience. My husband played in a band with three white men and three black men. The wives and the girlfriends would get up when they played to encourage people to get up and dance because once they see people up there, they go. And i had a black man asked me to dance. I said no thank you. Only because i was married, ok . This man pulled out a knife. I did not see it because he was behind me, but the lead singer, who was black, saw it and jumped off the stage and tackled him. This did not in any way make me prejudiced against black people for doing this. And once he realized that i was not prejudiced, that i was married and i didnt dance with any man, he calmed down. But i could have been seriously injured. Is i think the prejudice pretty much on both sides. Kimberly all right up next we have robert from st. Louis, missouri. Good mor ....

If we come up with the vaccines and therapeutics, then i give myself an a plus. All right. President trump in conversation with bob woodward who last night shared that previously unreleased audio from an interview from late july when the president gave himself that glowing grade. 140,000 americans had lost their lives from the coronavirus. Now, about two months later, the coronavirus death toll in the u. S. Has surpassed 200,000 lives. You know, its its a grading scale i dont think any of us understand or would be comfortable with. I think its a grading scale straight out of trump university. Because we can grade it from the very beginning where he was a liar and admitted he was a liar to the American People. When he had been told by his own people inside the whit ....

CSPAN Global Missile Defense May 31, 2014

Should be derived strategically. We tend to look at strategy as linking and balancing, hence ways and means. Then we look at the results and risk. We believe that, at the end of the day, our strategy is reflected in the qdr. It is fundamentally about protecting our National Security interests. If we understand what those are and that some are more important than others, not only does this enable us to offer advice on when and how to use force, it means we can link those interests on how to allocate everincreasing means that are provided by congress. And in between the ends and the means lies the Fertile Ground of ways, and how we go about getting it all done. And how resourceful we can be in crafting those ways. The tougher we are on ourselves and how we manage a resources, the better we can conserve our ends. One of the most important ways is deterrence, which really come ....
