point road. and i d 11 is a resolution declaring the intend of the city to reimburse certain expend enters from proceeds of future bonded indebtedness in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed 122 million, authorizing the director of mohcd to submit an application and related documents to the cdlac to permit the issuance of residential mortgage revenue bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed 122 million for 1801 25 street. thank you, chair haney. good afternoon. my name is joyce lund, and bond program manager at the mayor s office of housing and community development, mohcd. i m here to present on items 7 through 10. the purpose of the resolutions before you is to approve the hearing that the city conducted for 78 haight street, 180 jones street and hunters phase three to comply with the federal tax equity and responsibility act or tera. the proposed bond issuances will be conduit financing and will be require the city to pledge any of its funds for repaym
grants and they will help to stabilize our small businesses through the challenging months ahead. as i said, this new $62 million plan will triple what we ve done so far. our previous efforts include $29 million in grants, loans and fee waivers. in addition to the grants and loans, we ve also provided through programs like great place which pays local restaurants to provide meals to those in need. we have also launched our jobs now program which will help to pay a portion of staff wages so that businesses can hire people as they start to reopen. and, of course, we are continuing to do the work to streamline the process permitting us to open up businesses in san francisco. we re implementing prop h, approved by the voters this past november, which requires the city to grant permits to new businesses within 30 days. this streamlined process will be essential as we begin to reopen our economy in the months ahead. we have to make it easier to open and operate businesses in our
