Yeah, i know. Wet weather that started thursday and continued on and off through this morning but its almost over. I mean, the last of the rain showers are pulling out so were actually going to see this system exit by the noon hour o it will still stay cloudy though. I dont think well see much sunshine. As we take a live look outside on this saturday morning, good morning to you all. Gray skies await. You can see them for miles. This is turning into a pretty complex storm system this noreaster that is moving up the southeast coast and will eventually position itself over new england before the weekend is over bringing a lot of rain to places like boston and new york city but for us in washington look at the western edge of the rain has now pretty much cleared the district. Theres some wraparound showers across the mountains and i wouldnt say were rain free for the rest of the day but the overall trend is for the storm to move out and the rain ending. Joins us now with a look at the beater. When is the sun going to return . A. Just in time for our mothers on mothers day. Not very many people got to see any sunshine today. We had plepttive gray skies and clouds and even a sprinkle here and there and some rain a little bit heavier earlier in the day. Lets take a look at satellite radar and see exactly whats lapping. Take a look at the low pressure system spinning its way off the northeast. Over delaware seeing a fair amount of rainfall as well. Youll see a sprinkle or two here and there. Dont be sprays surprised. But it is finally starting to move its way out. Temperatures, another portion of my story because it has been extremely chilly. Well, highs today 61 at Reagan National airport, 60 at dulles and 58 at some 13 to t 15degrees blow the seasonal averages because we hewed be so much warmer than that.
