caught in a dangerous current and demands 12 year-old niece went missing in the waters after a two-hour search lifeguard pulled her out. she was taken to hospital in critical condition. it was the second water rescue and about four hours earlier this afternoon a man in his 60s jumped into the water and when he didn t resurface for several minutes a group of teens called for help. a man jumped in to try to find him and they called the life guard over and the ambulance was trying to do cpr on him and it didn t work. the man died at the hospital. as people had to be just cool off the great lakes search and rescue project say drownings are way up so far this year and 19 deaths in the lake michigan and the chicago area and northwest indiana. and what typically is the most dangerous month august. just in the last hour, another girl was pulled from the water at rogers beach park after a wave carried her away from shore she is in good condition tonight and you should know th ....
