3rd ID staff trains on 'fort to port' deployment process

On Jan.18, Nearly 100 members of the 3rd Infantry Division staff traveled to Joint Base Charleston to visit the 841st Transportation Battalion and gain a better understanding of the Armor Brigade Combat Team “fort to port” deployment process.

(Jacqueline Belker) The Army in 2021 will select from among the three companies vying to build the Army’s replacement for both the M4 carbine and Squad Automatic Weapon. The Next Generation Squad Automatic Weapon project has been in the works for the past three years and, if completed and implemented, would mark the first substantial change in conventional small arms that the U.S. military has seen since the mid-20th century when it adopted the M16 service rifle in 5.56mm.

Dr. Dale Miller, assistant principal at Davies High School, has been named the North Dakota Assistant Principal of the Year by the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP). Now designated a state winner by NDASSP, Miller is eligible to be the 2021 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year. When Davies High opened in 2011, Dale moved to an assistant principal at Davies High school where he is currently working.
