Election workers from the spring election in the Town of Osceola will be asked to give a written report to the Town Board about the election and why numerous write-in ballot votes were not initially reported. The board made the decision to ask for more information from election workers following a discussion of the recount May 4. Then Town Chair Brandon Whittaker read a prepared statement about the election and the recount. âI would like to make a brief statement about the spring election. On the ballot for students with on-campus addresses were candidates for State Superintendent, Appleton Area School District School Board Member, Outagamie County City Court Judge Branch 6, Court of Appeals Judge District 3 and the City of Appleton Nonpartisan Redistricting Referendum. Jill Underly won the election for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, the highest education position for Wisconsin. Underly received 58% of the votes over her opponent Deborah Kerr.
