when we get snow cover, even if it s a light snow cover, it really insulates things and allows the temperatures to plummet. there s the snow cover. lexington park, folks in southern maryland got more snow than i thought we d get down there. a couple of inches. look at the mountains. a lot of this now is rapidly shrinking. it was a powdery snow. about 20-1, only a half inch that was the equivalent of two inches. look at the current temperatures. 29 degrees to 27. with that wind, our windchills already look at winchester. 9 degrees. and the sun has just set. so overnight tonight, we ll see more windchills. there are still winter storm warnings out to the mountains of west virginia where there s 30 inches of snow on the ground. early this morning, a little ripple in the atmosphere really brought in some heavy snows down toward the northern neck. all of that has moved off now. eventually even the snow squalls will bow moving out. telephonetu temperatures into the teens. ....
