The fatal extent was called into the chp 8 20 tonight. The chp 911 operator received a dozen calls from drivers traveling northbound, saying someone was hit on the freeway. Chp officers arrived at 8 26 and immediately closed all northbound lanes. The freeway was closed between grand eave new and oyster point.
