The chp says someone stole that truck from the bay area and then bolted up i80. Officers tried to stop the suspect near dixon just before 8 00 tonight and nick james says thats when things got nasty. Reporter it was shut down all involving that stolen pickup truck behind me out of concord, officers saying the suspect was wanted in connection with an assault with a Deadly Weapon that happened in sacramento. They were on standby looking for that vehicle as they spotted it heading east on 80 at a high rate of speed. They pulled the vehicle over. They say the suspect got out, charged at officers.
