Heinemann pleaded guilty via video on Friday to eight counts of breaching bail, one of driving without a license, offences involving registration certificates and stealing.
Sen Constable Allan told the court the Meridan Plains resident was arrested outside the Maroochydore Courthouse in relation to the matters on Thursday, December 10 after he was fined a total of $1200 and disqualified from driving for six months.
Police prosecutor Stephen Potter said police cornered the 18 year old in a MacDonald s drive through on November 11 before he was charged with using stolen number plates. At 11.45pm police observed a black Holden vehicle travelling though the drive through at McDonald s Currimundi, police parked their vehicle in front, preventing it from leaving, he said. A number of persons were arrested including the defendant. Checks revealed the defendant was the holder of Learner drivers licence at the time and was subject to a demerit point suspension and there was also stolen plates on the vehicle. The court heard the incident occurred just three days after the teen stole fuel from a Kunda Park Puma.
