with more from the scene. reporter: good morning. the fire chief walked over to us just a few minutes ago to tell us that the fire is not contained but they are still fighting hot spots on the back side of the building. this area is very smoky this morning. and residents we spoke to said they grabbed what they could and ran out. when i ran down you, just saw the fire coming from a friend of mine that lives in the building. it s really scare me to death. reporter: san francio police officer told me that there had been some minor injuries, smoke inhalation and the fire chief confirmed that this morning. two came from the initial fire building, the building that was on fire. another injury came from an adjacent building. this was an eight-unit, four- story building that caught fire this morning near hyde and bush. the point of origin where the fire seems to be the most intense is the fourth floor. i want you to listen to what she said she saw when she first arrived.
