good morning, everyone. i m christi paul in for randi kaye. so glad to have your company. 10:00 on the east coast. 7:00 on the west. i want to begin with suhurrican sandy, which has regained strength. one area that s really starting to feel the effects is the coast of north carolina and that s where we have george howell. in the last couple of hours, have you seen conditions change there, george? christi, good morning. we re starting to feel a little bit of the rainfall from this system. a lot of that rainfall has remained offshore, but here where we are along the outer banks, we are in position to feel those first bands as they move closer to shore. also the winds are picking up out here. the winds have been right around ten to 20 miles per hour, not too bad, but that situation will change and the best evidence of that just take a look out there. you can see what s happening there on the waters, getting rougher and rougher as the storm moves closer to us. right now, this
