After months of adhering to pandemic protocols, Don Carter, Jr., wants some relief.
Like many in the industry, Carter, owner of more than a half dozen central Pennsylvania restaurants, including Dukes Bar & Grill and Dockside Willies Bar & Grill in Wormleysburg, has had to lay off employees, shave back hours and watch sales and profits plummet.
He has also delayed opening a new restaurant in Wormleysburg, Tequila Willies, to focus on preparing his other establishments’ decks and patios for spring. As he sees it, there’s more money to be made from outdoor dining.

An American bistro with a French twist is en route to Hershey.
“We’re really proud to bring a locally owned business to downtown Hershey,” said Angela Megoulas, Café aMusée co-owner. “We’ve developed a great menu that balances unique selections with more classic food items.”
She’s joined in the venture by friend and business partner, Irene Gekas. The two have operated restaurants at Hersheypark for about 18 years, and owned 2201 in the Boro in Camp Hill in the early 2000s.
