CTO praises Hatch for his role in its formation

Article by Social Share Deceased Barbadian cleric and radio talk show host, Rev. Andrew Hatch was hailed for his advocacy that paved the way for the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO). Hatch was one of the major founders and the first vice chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Research and Development Centre (CTRC), which merged with the Caribbean Tourism Association in 1989 to form the CTO. He died last Wednesday at the age of 91. “As the director of the Caribbean Council of Churches (CCC) in Barbados, Hatch helped lead the charge for an umbrella agency that would undertake not just the marketing of Caribbean tourism, but also the critical areas of research and human resource development,” a CTO statement said.

ToughBuilt strengthens UK sales team 9 March, 2021 Andrew Hatch, Scott Thompson, Tony Spain and Stuart Cowling ToughBuilt Industries has appointed a National Sales Manager, two National Key Account managers and a new Commercial Manager - Retail. Tony Spain became ToughBuilt s National Sales Manager in January. He has over 40 years’ experience in the tool industry. The new national key account managers are Scott Thompson and Stuart Cowling. Thompson joins ToughBuilt having spent his whole career working in the tool industry. Over the last 30 years, he has held sales roles for Makita, Metabo and Milwaukee. During this time, he has proactively managed the accounts of national retailers, merchants and numerous buying groups.
