Jurors in the trial of double-murder suspect Ulisses Rodriguez began deliberating yesterday afternoon on whether Rodriguez is guilty of murdering a Southern Humboldt couple who were shot dead and set on fire.
In the days before he allegedly murdered a Southern Humboldt couple, Ulisses Rodriguez may have been planning to rob his own marijuana grow in the China Creek area, a prosecution witness testified today.
In the week between his alleged murder of two people in Southern Humboldt and his arrest in Chico, Ulisses Rodriguez had a special interest in two topics: shopping for a car and reading news articles about the killings.
