this is fox news live, i am eric shawn. arthel: i am arthel neville. severe weather coming causing path of devastation through the middle of our country affecting millions of people. can arkansas, possible tornado collapse the roof of an amazon warehouse and illinois but kentucky may have gotten the worst of it. governor andy bashir says twister was on the ground for more than 200 miles in western kentucky killing at least 70 people and as many as ten counties. the level of devastation is unlike anything i ve ever seen. this will be i believe the deadliest tornadoes system to ever run through kentucky. we have fox team coverage now, fox whether amy freeze is tracking where the storms are heading. first, charles watson. he has lived in atlanta with more on this tragedy. reporter: the outbreak of severe weather and tornadoes resulted in the death of dozens of people across at least five states. president biden in its weeks as he s been briefed on the devastating torna ....
radar. this line of storms continues to push eastward and toward the coastline and producing severe storms. there s a lot to watch. on the fox weather app you ll get your readings real-time we ve had almost 150 tornados from yesterday afternoon with the system until right now and the reports coming in are really devastating, in fact, the devastation has been jaw-dropping. with one particular tornado, this was a super cell on the ground over five states, more than 500 miles on the ground and this is a storm that produced much of the damage and potentially deadly in several states. we have confirmed deaths already for arkansas, illinois and also kentucky. top wind speeds of 107 in graves county. and there is the footage that s unbelievable what the storm has been able to do. a lot of the wind speeds could top 150, maybe 200 miles per hour. those will have to be surveyed by the damage they ve produced. tornado reports are at 37 and that number could grow. tornado emergenci ....
before christmas is vast, extensive and heartbreaking. the suspected tornado destroyed a nursing home in arkansas, killed one person there, then trapped 20 others at that facility as you can see just collapsed around them. meanwhile, up north illinois was also hit hard. search and rescue crews combing through rubble at an amazon warehouse in edwardsville which was partially collapsed by the tornado, almost completely, as you can see there. that roof just i destroyed, no walls. devastation everywhere, at least two people killed. but kentucky may have gotten the worst of it. the city of mayfield in the southwestern part of the state basically flattinged, destroyed. emergency teams addressing and assessing the damage there as the rescue and recovery operation. this may be the deadliest tornado outbreak in the state s history. complete coverage, let s begin with charles watson who s in atlanta. charles? reporter: hi, eric. dozens are areed■ç dead and more than 330,000 ....
