As many as 16 countries, including Brazil, Nepal, Bangladesh and, Malaysia, have formally joined the newly formed big cat alliance led by India, Environment Ministry officials said on Friday.
India News: 16 nations and 9 international organisations have joined the India-led big cat alliance. The alliance aims to protect and conserve tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars, pumas, and other big cats. India has also provided a budgetary support of Rs 150 crore for the alliance.
