The first first lady to venture into publishing was nellie tapp who recalled her time in the white house in her 1914 memoir, recollections in four years. Since then another for slaves have published memoirs. We will focus tonight on five women with serve in a position in the last few years. First up, Rosalynn Carter, she served as first lady from 19771981 and shes the author of five books. In 1984 for bestselling memoir, first lady from planes, was released.
