Handled. Hundreds of people gathered in tempe to protest Donald Trumps victory in a shocking election. The peaceful protest began Near University drive before ending on the campus of a. S. U. A shooting near an antitrump rally. Five people have been shot, two are in critical condition. The shooting happening near the downtown area feet from where it is unclear if the shooting was relateed to the election. Tonight, we are learning more about a Show Low Police officer killed in the line of duty. Officer darrin reed was shot and killed and the shooter was later shot and killed by police hostage. An outpouring of support for the officers family. Reporter we learned the fallen officer was months away from retirement. There is a big outpouring of support for a fallen officer. His name is darrin reed. People are morning mourning with his family. We were hoping for the best but it turned out to be a tragedy for that show low. We are learning that fallen officer darrin reed was months away from retirement. The department has never had to deal with a tragedy like this. They say reed was an outstanding officer, a fountain of knowledge and will be deeply missed. A town in mourning one day after one of their own lost his life protecting the Quiet Community officer reed made its way through the streets. Just a sad, sad situation.
