It’s looking to promote patient-centred psilocybin research in Canada, and help patients and doctors access psilocybin through special regulations. Kitchener-based cybersecurity company Palitronica Inc was the only client organization with more than two registrations. The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association is working with Benjamin Howe of Impact Public Affairs to advocate for additional mental health services funding. The Walt Disney Company has hired Justin Burrows of Geopolitics Group to discuss the government’s bid to overhaul Canada’s broadcasting laws (Bill C-10) as well as its proposal to implement a Digital Charter (Bill C-11).

I love the team environment,” MacLachlan told iPolitics, adding how fortunate he and his colleagues were to have learned so much from former colleague Tracey Hubley. Hubley, who died last March, had been Summa’s president since 2005. MacLachlan first joined Summa as a consultant in 2009 after spending nearly 18 months at the Rideau Institute on International Affairs. He first started working on the Hill as a constituency assistant to former NDP leader Ed Broadbent before moving to the office of the late Paul Dewar, where he was a legislative and communications assistant.
