Garner totaled 31 points, 16 rebounds, two steals and a block to lead the Hallsville Indians to a 64-49 win Friday night against the Capital City Cavaliers at Capital City High School.
For the second straight night, the Capital City Cavaliers used a huge third-quarter run to claim a win. The Cavaliers beat the Monroe City Panthers 60-42 at Capital City High School on Friday to win consecutive games for the first time this season.
Nehemiah Hamilton was all over the floor. Hamilton compiled 38 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals to lead the Capital City Cavaliers to a 76-61 win against the Owensville Dutchmen on Thursday.
The Helias Crusaders got out of their shooting funk Friday night. After back-to-back games of shooting less than 30 percent from the floor as a team, Helias made 51 percent of its shots against the Capital City Cavaliers. The Crusaders bounced back from their worst loss of the season with their most lopsided win of the year, defeating the Cavaliers 77-52 in Central Missouri Activities Conference play at Rackers Fieldhouse.
