took a cab home. the cab driver needed help getting the victim out of the car, so he flagged down a vehicle driving by. a mom and her teenage son helped carry the victim upstairs into her bedroom. police say that same 16-year- old boy came back a short time later and raped her. sources tell kpix 5 that the victim was semi-conscious and aware during the assault and played possum. what s more is that detectives said that the boy left and came back with the girlfriend and her friend to steal more than $1,000 worth of cash, jewelry, and a video game console. police got their big break the next day when somebody walked by the crime scene and asked the officer how the victim was doing. it turns out they knew the people who carried the victim inside that house. the young suspect lived less than 100 yards away. police say they found all the stolen items in his home and that he confessed to the rape. officers arrested him, the girlfriend, and her friend. we stopped by the suspect s ho
pelley: good evening. this is a special western edition. those who know paul ciancia are at a loss to explain friday s rampage at los angeles international airport and his apparent hatred for the t.s.a. today his family apologized. ciancia is accused of shooting a t.s.a. officer to death and wounding two other officers and a passenger. terrified travelers fled the terminal friday. police shot ciancia four times, his condition has been upgraded to good today, though he remains sedated and under guard. who is ciancia? ben tracy is at l.a.x. for us tonight. ben? reporter: scott, the alleged shooter is something of a blank slate no criminal record and, for someone his age, 23, he s posted very little online. his family says they re shocked and investigators are trying to figure out why he targeted t.s.a. officers here in this terminal at l.a.x. today, f.b.i. agents were at the apartment where paul anthony ciancia has been living outside of los angeles. they escorted one of h
