Westminster Conservatory of Music observes Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month with May 19 faculty recital

(PRINCETON, NJ) The Westminster Conservatory of Music will present the concert, Celebrating Asian and Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 7:30pm. The concert features nine Conservatory faculty members of APA heritage as they perform music that represents the nation of their background. It will take place in Bristol Chapel (101 Walnut Lane) in Princeton. Admission is free.

On April 7, 1972, the Allman Brothers Band was invited to perform at Manley Field House on the campus of Syracuse University.

Tivoli s Nick Wilkinson: We re Making Big Plans For This Fall Thursday, April 29, 2021 - photo by M.A. Locke Tivoli Foundation director Nick Wilkinson is envisioning capacity crowds at the Tivoli Theatre and Memorial Auditorium as early as this fall.  He said, With more people getting vaccinated and the COVID numbers going down, we are planning big. We expect to be wide open by late summer or fall. Tickets have already gone on sale for the Allman Band on Oct. 1 at the Walker Theater of Memorial Auditorium. Mr. Wilkinson said he expects every one of the 800 seats to be filled. He said, People are so tired of being cooped up. We all can t wait for this to be behind us.
