Tivoli Foundation director Nick Wilkinson is envisioning capacity crowds at the Tivoli Theatre and Memorial Auditorium as early as this fall.
He said, With more people getting vaccinated and the COVID numbers going down, we are planning big. We expect to be wide open by late summer or fall.
Tickets have already gone on sale for the Allman Band on Oct. 1 at the Walker Theater of Memorial Auditorium. Mr. Wilkinson said he expects every one of the 800 seats to be filled.
He said, People are so tired of being cooped up. We all can t wait for this to be behind us.

Covenant Women s Track Team Runs To Second Place Finish At USA South Championships Thursday, April 29, 2021 The Covenant women s track and field team climbed to a second-place finish at the USA South Championships, while the men s team placed fifth overall as the event concluded on Thursday. It is the highest finish for the women s team at the USA South Championships as the Scots totaled 101 points, while the men s fifth-place finish (63 points) was its highest in program history. The Covenant teams had 10 athletes on All-USA South teams for a total of 12 selections. The women had a strong Thursday with 81 total points on the day to go with a pair of gold-medal performances.
