one year ago today. the administration argues it s been taxpayer money well spent, with 2 million jobs created or saved. and they point to economists to note that the country would be even in worse shape had it not been for the stimulus. the stimulus continues to climb from 8.2% a year ago, to 9.7% of. in the past year, nearly 4 million jobs have been slashed. republicans argue we have not gotten the bang for our buck. john is live at the white house. john, i want to start with the biggest challenge the white house has. t the new york times /cbs poll, has created job, 6%. will create jobs, 41%. will not create jobs, 48%. how aware is the house of these numbers? this is a really tough sale. it s been a tough sale for the administration. they ve argued there there are 2 million jobs saved or created. but the reality is, you just pointed to the numbers, unemployment remains high. 3.3 million jobs have been lost in the economy since the stimulus bill was signed into law. ....
