People are stranded in the middle of black rock desert. It is billed as nineday escape from reality, which ends with burning of a statue. Monsoon rains rocked that desert floor turning it into gluelike sticky mud, which trapped most vehicles. Attendees have had to conserve food and water and hypothermia was a risk.
