RAWALPINDI: In order to ensure implementation of restrictions imposed by the government to combat the spread of Covid-19, law enforcement agencies conducted a flag march in the city on Tuesday.
The purpose of the march was to create awareness among people about precautionary measures against spread of the disease. The police led by Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Rana Shoaib Mahmood along with law enforcement agencies conducted the march. Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Anwarul Haq also participated in it.
The march began from Police Lines Headquarters passed through Ammar Chowk, Rawal Road, Ali Nawaz Chowk and then moved towards Chandni Chowk, Rehmanabad and Faizabad. From Faizabad, the march passed through Murree Road, Shamasabad, Commercial Market, Naz Cinema and Fawara Chowk ending at the Police Lines Headquarters.

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi police, army, Rangers, Rescue 1122, traffic wardens and Dolphin officials Tuesday carried out a joint flag march in different areas to spread the awareness amongst the public to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) against coronavirus.
The joint flag march of police, army, rangers, Rescue 1122 and Dolphin officials led by Deputy Commissioner (Rawalpindi) Captain (r) Anwar-ul-Haq and SSP (Operations) Shoib Mehmood, started from Police Lines Headquarters and passed through different important roads and markets and business centres of the city including Ammar Chowk, Rawal Road, Ali Nawaz Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Rehmanabad, Faizabad, Murree Road, Commercial Market, Naz Cinema, Fawara Chowk, and Mall Road Saddar.
