RAWALPINDI: In order to ensure implementation of restrictions imposed by the government to combat the spread of Covid-19, law enforcement agencies conducted a flag march in the city on Tuesday.
The purpose of the march was to create awareness among people about precautionary measures against spread of the disease. The police led by Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Rana Shoaib Mahmood along with law enforcement agencies conducted the march. Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Anwarul Haq also participated in it.
The march began from Police Lines Headquarters passed through Ammar Chowk, Rawal Road, Ali Nawaz Chowk and then moved towards Chandni Chowk, Rehmanabad and Faizabad. From Faizabad, the march passed through Murree Road, Shamasabad, Commercial Market, Naz Cinema and Fawara Chowk ending at the Police Lines Headquarters.
