Contributed photo December 26, 2020 THE Philippine Association of Japanese Government Scholars (Philajames)-Mindanao Chapter, an organization of scholars who successfully finished their program in different fields in prestigious universities all over Japan, partnered with the Department of Education (Deped)-Davao in providing mathematics learning materials to public school students.
With its commitment to serve as a bridge to strengthen the good relationship between Japan and the Philippines through its various programs and activities, Philajames-Mindanao donated Sansusetto (number set), a set of Japanese manipulatives which has been used by Japanese teachers in primary level to strengthen conceptual understanding of the learners in Mathematics, to identified beneficiary schools.
