SunStar SunStar File May 21, 2021 THE City Government of Davao is set to open nine additional vaccination sites to accommodate more target individuals. City Health Office (CHO) Acting Head Dr. Ashley Lopez said the City Government is fast-tracking its immunization program as it plans to designate additional vaccination sites. Currently, the city has 11 operational vaccination hubs. Several private hospitals have also been designated to administer the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine to selected seniors. The private hospitals have the facilities to meet the vaccine’s strict storage temperature requirement. The city targets to open at least 20 vaccination sites as inoculation for senior citizens continues.
