The fire is contained. They did manage to keep it from spreading to the main sanctuary, but obviously the Building Sustained some major damage. Its a fire that could be seen for miles. Heavy smoke billowing from a church thats just a few blocks from the uc berkeley campus. Nicole suarez told us she took this video just before 1 00 as she walked by on her way to class. On down tomorrow morning to the steps of city hall and join this general strike. Now supporters say they are expecting a big turnout, but not everyone says theyre on board. The purpose of the general strike is that were calling for people to not spend money in the city of San Francisco tomorrow, to not go to work. Reporter supporters of the frisco five have reached out on social media, calling for a general strike tomorrow, gathering in front of San Francisco city hall. The protesters ended their 17day Hunger Strike last night but not their fight. They remain at the Medical Center because of deteriorating health. Theyre going to be in the hospital for a few days as they reintroduce food to their system, but theyre in good spirits. Reporter friday, more than 30 supporters were arrested in a clash with deputies at city hall. The front door was smashed, a metal detector toppled, leaving thousands of dollars in damage. The public defender came to the jail to visit accused killer mark pgh andrus. He is accused of killing a body dismembering it, stuffing it in a suitcase and dump. At this point the case is under investigation. He points to a photo on this surveilsens video. It shows a man driving a suitcase just two blocks from where the body and suitcase were found.
