Olympic Day Run was organised by Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) under the theme, “Let’s Move”, saw the participation over 400 kids competing in different race categories at IG Stadium, here on Saturday.
KOHIMA The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on Saturday conducted the Olympic Day Run, in commemoration of International Olympic Day, at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS) Kohima on the theme “Let’s move” with hundreds of children participating in the run. Special guest for the occasion, Advisor of Youth Resources and Sports (YRS), S Keoshu Yimchunger, in his speech, said that sports can change a person’s life from ordinary to extraordinary. Encouraging the participants that they are in the initial stage, the advisor stated that “with the same spirit they have today,” they (participants) can excel and make Nagaland state shine through their hard works and sacrifices.
