A suspected firebug has a Far North town rallying together after a spate of suspicious fires put the community on a knife-edge. Five suspicious fires in Ahipara in the past six weeks have thrust volunteer firefighters into the midst of vehicle and vegetation fires - including a wildfire that took six days to be completely contained - and an inferno that destroyed an elderly couple s loved home they built 60 years ago.
