ANPSA holds state-level literary competitions

Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): Lokhemi Achumi and Chothanu Kharutso from Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima, won the first prize of the state-level quiz competition organised by All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) held at NBCC Platinum Hall in Kohima on October 20. An update from ANPSA informed that Manchem Chang and Shahida Sultana from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, secured the second  position, while Ansh Singh and Santosh Nayak from Agape Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima, secured the third position. It stated that a sum of INR10,000, INR 8,000 and INR 6,000 were given away to the winners along with certificates. In the extempore speech contest, Lithang Tungoe from Perennial School, Wokha, secured the first position, while Kilini P Zhimo from Cornerstone Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto, and Kekhriesinuo Sekhose from Mezhür Higher Secondary School, Kohima, secured the second and third position respectively. ANPSA units conduct literary competitions

Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): Dimapur unit of the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) organised a district level literary competitions (quiz and extempore speech) on August 26. An update from ANPSA stated that more than 700 students, teacher representatives and board members from 18 schools have participated in the competition. It stated that Rev. Fr. Philip Y, principal of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, delivered the welcome address as convenor, while Neena Dutta, ANPSA treasurer and principal of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, delivered the vote of thanks.
