Conditions are drying out across the region. But it left an area of snow in it wake. Especially in the neighborhoods this morning, a little slippery and sloppy. For the most part, things are start to go melt and temperatures are going up. Right now, at 36 in philadelphia. 37 in millville and bluebell.
This thing, firefighters have gotten this under control. This is at 3rd and Chestnut Streets. Theyre still working to get rid of every single extinguish all the flames. As of 6 48 a. M. , they do not expect it to spread anymore. You can see the heavy black smoke consuming this block of Chestnut Street for the past four hours. Theyre going to expect a lot of smoke damage. The building affected will have severe fire damage in all of those apartments. This is at third and chestnut across from the museum of the american revolution. It has a number of bars, hotels, shopping districts and apartments. A number of people in the apartments of the affected buildings were evacuated. Nearby buildings also evacuated. Some 60 people were just evacuated in the past hour because they were in a nearby building and were told to get out. At this point, we can report no injuries according to fire officials.
